This preplated copper terminal is used in Automotive Hall Effect Sensors. Hobson and Motzer stamps this preplated material and supplies it to their customer on a reel. The ends of the terminal are folded over for strength and to meet the ID dimensions of the mating part. By folding over the tips, we save on material consumption.
