Automotive Coupling Joint

This Automotive Transmission Coupling Joint is progressively stamped. Originally, this coupling joint was a welded tube. Hobson and Motzer, was able to design a progressive die that would make the part complete without welding.
The material is 0.158" thick stainless steel. The part has dovetails to keep it closed and bent down tabs to hold the mating components in place.
